Well, Hello World, It's Foaling Season. And what a season we are having. Quite unique, to be sure, to be sure. Oh yeah, you're saying. Why? You might ask. Well, we have...wait for it...are you ready...Aunty Mum's!  What on earth is an Aunty Mum? You say scratching your head. Well, it's when you have two Mum's (mares) who share their foals! They both feed each others foal. In forty years of breeding we've never seen it. How about you? We'd love to hear from you if you have. A perfect scenario if a Foster Mum is ever needed. See for yourself (right). Both foals are at Aunty Mum Rosie's Milk Bar.  These mares, Rosie and Libby(left), are very close. They are half sisters and have grown up together, went in foal a week apart and, they foaled together...on the same day. They both tricked us, we thought Rosie, the mare with the full blaze, would foal first but it was Libby who was first passed the post. She had Brownie.com. We call him Brownie.com as he doesn't have a full blaze and the white marking on his brow looks like the letter, "C," with a tail. Libby and Rosie probably put their heads together and thought, der we'll trick them.They certainly did. Anyway, all is well in Aunty Mum land, the foals are well and Libby loves her baby. In fact both of them. Rosie's the disciplinarian and puts both children in their place when she has had enough. Tessa (right), Rosie's foal has two speeds, flat out and stop so, as most new borns do, so she loves to have a sleep.  So there we have it. Aunty Mum's Down Under. We sincerely hope all is well in your paddocks. If you would like to acquire a Clydesdale, Libby, Rosie and Brownie.com (below) are available. These types of mares are valuable and don't come along every day so don't miss out! Brownie is particularly tall and has a fantastic personality. He would be perfect to keep as a stallion or a pet.
